About Aksara

A Legacy of Thai Culinary Excellence

Born in Bangkok in 1980, Aksara comes from a long line of female Thai chefs. Her grandmother was trained in noble households and passed her knowledge to Aksara’s mother, who built a national food company supplying hundreds of outlets across Thailand.

After studying law in Bangkok and Sydney, Aksara followed her passion and launched Krua Samerjai,  a clean-food delivery brand, named after her grandmother. Today, she divides her time between Bangkok and Berlin, bringing her culinary heritage to the world through her namesake brand—AKSARA—combining tradition with modern-day practicality.

She works closely with DiTP (Ministry of Commerce, Thai Embassy Berlin) to promote Thai cuisine globally and continues her family legacy with a dedication to craft, quality, and taste.
